Pakistan and Belarus Discuss Strengthening Ties at SCO Summit

Astana: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif of Pakistan engaged in comprehensive discussions with President Aleksandr Lukashenko of Belarus during a sideline meeting at the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Summit.

According to Press Information Department, the leaders explored a variety of topics including political relations, trade, investment, and military cooperation. Prime Minister Sharif commended Belarus’s recent entry into the SCO, highlighting its potential to enhance the organization’s strength. The conversation also covered both countries’ desire to deepen economic and trade relations, amidst a review of their flourishing bilateral ties over the past decade.
