Islamabad, Pakistan and Belarus continue to strengthen their military and technical collaboration through the “Inter Governmental Commission on Military and Technical Cooperation,” established in 2015.
According to Press Information Department, the fourth session of this commission was held from January 22-24, 2024, in Pakistan, following three successful sessions since its inception. The most recent prior meeting took place in Minsk, Belarus, in April 2021. The Belarusian delegation for this session was led by Deputy Minister SAMI, Mr. Rassalai Viachaslau, while the Pakistan side was headed by Secretary Defence Production, Lt Gen (Retd) Humayun Aziz HI(M). During the meeting, both countries reviewed the progress on previous agenda points and agreed on the potential to enhance collaboration in areas of mutual interest.
