Pakistan and Bangladesh Prime Ministers Exchange Eid Greetings and Discuss Regional Cooperation


Lahore: In a recent telephone conversation, Prime Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif of Pakistan and Prime Minister Tarique Rahman of Bangladesh exchanged Eid ul Fitr greetings and discussed regional cooperation. According to Press Information Department, the leaders expressed mutual goodwill and highlighted the historic and familial ties between their nations.



During the call, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to enhancing bilateral cooperation with Bangladesh. Both leaders shared their views on regional developments in South Asia and the situation in the Middle East, emphasizing the importance of dialogue and diplomacy in resolving differences.



Prime Minister Rahman reciprocated the Eid greetings and expressed best wishes for the people of Pakistan. The leaders expressed their intent to collaborate closely on achieving regional and global peace and stability in the future.
