Islamabad, President Dr. Arif Alvi has emphasized the importance of Pakistan’s relationship with Azerbaijan, highlighting the mutual respect and shared cultural ties that underpin their bilateral relations. During a meeting with Mr. Vugar Gulmammadov, Chairman of the Chamber of Accounts of Azerbaijan, at Aiwan-e-Sadr, the President advocated for enhanced cooperation between the supreme audit institutions of both countries.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, President Alvi proposed an increase in collaborative efforts to share best auditing practices, aiming to bolster transparency and financial accountability. He underscored the significance of Pakistan-Azerbaijan cooperation in fostering peace, stability, and development within the region, marking a commitment to a partnership rooted in common faith, history, and people-to-people contacts.
