Pakistan and Azerbaijan Set $2 Billion Trade and Investment Target


Islamabad: Pakistan and Azerbaijan have committed to significantly expanding their trade and investment relationship, aiming to increase their mutual economic exchanges from one million dollars to two billion dollars. This ambitious goal follows a series of fifteen memorandums of understanding and agreements, which cover a broad spectrum of sectors including trade, tourism, minerals, science and technology, law and justice, and cultural exchanges.



According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, these agreements were facilitated by the Special Investment Facilitation Council, which aims to bolster cooperation between the two nations in diverse fields. The enhanced partnership is expected to open new avenues for economic and cultural collaboration, reflecting a deepening of ties and mutual interests between Pakistan and Azerbaijan.



This series of agreements marks a significant step in fostering closer relations between the two countries, with potential benefits spanning economic growth, technological advancement, and cultural enrichment.
