Pakistan and Azerbaijan Forge Stronger Defense Ties Amid Regional Security Discussions

Baku: During an official visit to Azerbaijan, Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC) General Sahir Shamshad Mirza met with key Azerbaijani leaders, including President Ilham Aliyev and other high-ranking officials, to discuss the evolving security dynamics of the region and ways to enhance bilateral defense cooperation.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the discussions emphasized the deep and historic ties between Pakistan and Azerbaijan, with both sides exploring opportunities to deepen these relationships further in the realm of defense and security. General Mirza and Azerbaijani leaders reviewed potential areas for enhanced military collaboration and reaffirmed their commitment to regional peace and stability.
