Pakistan and Azerbaijan Commit to Expanding Partnership in Nuclear Technology and More


Islamabad, In a significant development, Pakistan and Azerbaijan have pledged to enhance their bilateral relations, with a keen focus on the peaceful use of nuclear technology. This commitment was solidified during a meeting between Pakistani Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar and his Azerbaijani counterpart, Bayramov Jeyhun, on the margins of the Nuclear Energy Summit held in Brussels, Belgium.



According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the discussions centered on advancing cooperation in the utilization of nuclear energy, particularly in the health and agriculture sectors. Both nations acknowledged their successful ongoing collaboration in nuclear applications within agriculture, underlining the potential for expanded partnership in these vital areas.



The ministers underscored their shared commitment to combating climate change through the strategic use of nuclear energy. Furthermore, Foreign Minister Dar expressed Pakistan’s willingness to share its experience and expertise in the peaceful applications of nuclear technology with Azerbaijan, signaling a forward path toward greater collaboration in diverse sectors between the two countries.
