Pakistan and Australia Commit to Enhanced Military Cooperation


Rawalpindi, In a significant development aimed at bolstering bilateral military relations, Chief of Defence Forces Australia, General Angus J. Campbell, met with Pakistan’s Chief of Army Staff, General Syed Asim Munir. The discussions focused on enhancing cooperation between the two nations’ armed forces, reflecting a mutual commitment to address regional and global security challenges.



According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the meeting involved a detailed exchange on various aspects of military and security dynamics, emphasizing the importance of strengthening ties in the context of the current international security environment. Both leaders expressed a strong interest in expanding military-to-military cooperation, suggesting future collaborative efforts in defense and strategic sectors.
