Pakistan Aims to Boost Exports to $36 Billion, Says Commerce Minister

Islamabad, Caretaker Minister for Commerce and Industries, Dr. Gohar Ejaz, has announced the government’s ambitious plan to enhance Pakistan’s exports to $36 billion. Speaking at the Margalla Dialogue session on “Economic frontiers and entrepreneurial vision,” Dr. Ejaz shared that the government is operating the country’s industries at full capacity.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, He noted that currently, Pakistan’s remittances stand at $22 billion and exports at $27 billion. The Minister emphasized the importance of increasing regional trade for economic development and stressed the need for Pakistan to focus on boosting exports and addressing deficits resulting from previous policies.
