Karachi: In a significant move to bolster economic relations with Saudi Arabia, Jawad Sohrab Malik, the Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development, has held a meeting with the leadership of Alfanar, a prominent power and construction company in Saudi Arabia. The discussions centered around expanding employment opportunities for Pakistani professionals in the Kingdom.
According to Radio Pakistan, During the meeting, Malik reiterated the Pakistani government’s commitment to strengthening economic ties with Saudi Arabia. This initiative is a part of Pakistan’s broader strategy to enhance bilateral relations and increase the presence of its skilled workforce abroad.
Sabah Al-Mutlaq, the Chief Executive Officer of Alfanar, expressed his appreciation for the quality of Pakistani manpower and their significant contributions to the Saudi economy. Alfanar, which currently employs a workforce with twenty percent Pakistani professionals, is looking to further increase the recruitment of Pakistani talent in its upcoming projects. This development promises to open new avenues for Pakistani professionals in the Saudi Arabian market, further solidifying the economic and cultural ties between the two nations.
