Karachi, Minister for Commerce Jam Kamal Khan has articulated a strong desire for Pakistan to have a significant presence at the Expo 2025 in Osaka, Japan, emphasizing the country’s intent to utilize this global platform to foster international trade relations and showcase its economic potential.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, during a visit to the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan in Karachi, Minister Jam Kamal was briefed on Pakistan’s preparations for international exhibitions, including the upcoming Expo 2025. Regional Director General Islamabad Muhammad Naseer, through a video link, shared that Pakistan is keen on participating in sub-themes ‘Connecting Lives’ and ‘Empowering Lives’ at the Expo, with an application already submitted for participation approval.
Minister Jam Kamal, in statements to the media, underscored the government’s commitment to addressing economic challenges and propelling the country towards progress. He highlighted the ongoing efforts to improve the business environment and ensure that the issues affecting the business community are addressed promptly.
Expo 2025 Osaka is slated to run from April 13 to October 13, representing a strategic opportunity for Pakistan to strengthen international partnerships and economic ties.
