Pakistan Advocates for Peace and Resolution in Escalating Middle East Conflicts

Islamabad: Pakistan has expressed significant concern over the rising tensions in the Middle East, specifically citing increasing hostilities by Israel, and is calling for an immediate de-escalation and resolution to the conflicts. The Pakistani government is urging all involved parties to prioritize peace and engage in diplomatic efforts to stabilize the region.

According to Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the recent actions by Israel in Gaza and its invasion of Lebanon have not only exacerbated the humanitarian crisis but also threatened regional stability. Pakistan emphasizes the importance of respecting international laws and the United Nations Charter, advocating for the international community, including the UN Security Council, to take decisive actions to ensure peace, uphold Lebanon’s sovereignty, and address the crisis in Gaza.

Pakistan remains a staunch supporter of a two-state solution, seeing it as the only viable resolution to the longstanding issues in the region, and aligns with international and Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) resolutions aimed at establishing a sustainable peace and providing justice to the Palestinian people.
