New York: Pakistan has urged the international community to engage in dialogue and diplomacy to address the challenges facing the Korean Peninsula. During a United Nations Security Council briefing on Non-proliferation/Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, Ambassador Usman Jadoon, Deputy Permanent Representative of Pakistan to the UN, emphasized the importance of refraining from coercive or provocative measures and avoiding threats and heated rhetoric.
According to Radio Pakistan, Ambassador Jadoon highlighted the necessity for all parties involved to avoid actions that could escalate tensions. He called for restraint and a positive response to constructive proposals, underscoring the potential for dialogue to contribute to a peaceful resolution.
