Islamabad: Pakistan is making significant strides towards embracing a cashless economy, bolstered by the growing public adoption of digital payment systems. Minister of State for Finance and Revenue Bilal Azhar Kayani highlighted these developments in an exclusive interview.
According to Radio Pakistan, Minister Kayani stated that the country’s financial system is undergoing a gradual transformation, backed by robust momentum in cashless transactions across various markets. He emphasized that the government is committed to further strengthening Pakistan’s digital financial ecosystem. This effort includes expanding payment infrastructure and enhancing system capabilities to ensure secure and seamless transactions nationwide.
