Islamabad, Pakistan’s Foreign Secretary, Muhammad Syrus Sajjad Qazi, has accused India of conducting a sophisticated and sinister campaign of extra-territorial and extra-judicial killings within Pakistan. This revelation was made during a news briefing in Islamabad this evening.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting , Qazi presented what he described as credible evidence linking Indian agents to the assassinations of two Pakistani nationals on Pakistani soil. He stated that Indian agents used technology and foreign safe havens to orchestrate these killings, recruiting criminals, terrorists, and unsuspecting civilians for their execution.
The Foreign Secretary named Indian agent Yogesh Kumar, allegedly based in a third country, as the orchestrator of the assassination of Shahid Latif in Sialkot. Additionally, Indian agents Ashok Kumar Anand and Yogesh Kumar were implicated in the killing of Muhammad Riaz in Rawalakot.
Qazi informed that Pakistani authorities have apprehended the assassins hired by these Indian agents. Pakistan reportedly possesses documentary, financial, and forensic evidence supporting the involvement of Kumar and Anand in these assassinations.
Highlighting the global nature of these incidents, the Foreign Secretary claimed that similar acts masterminded by Indian agents had occurred in Canada and the United States, labeling the Indian network of extra-judicial and extra-territorial killings a global phenomenon.
He emphasized the need for bringing the perpetrators, facilitators, and financiers of these assassinations to justice. Qazi asserted that Indian agents should face legal consequences for their actions in Pakistan and other countries, calling for international accountability for India’s alleged violation of international law and breach of the UN Charter.
The Foreign Secretary underscored Pakistan’s commitment to protecting its people and sovereignty. He stated that India’s actions question its credibility as an international player and contradict its claims for enhanced global responsibilities.
The Foreign Office also released the passport details of Yogesh Kumar and Ashok Kumar Anand, providing specific information about their birthplaces and dates.
