CHERAT: The closing ceremony of the Pak-Turkiye Joint Exercise Ataturk-XIII, focusing on counter-terrorism, was conducted at Cherat, Pakistan. The two-week-long exercise, which commenced on February 10, 2025, saw participation from combat teams of the Pakistan Army’s Special Services Group and 36 personnel from the Special Forces of the Republic of Turkiye.
According to a statement by Inter Services Public Relations, the exercise aimed at refining professional skills through joint training, while also strengthening the historical military relationship between the two nations. The event highlighted the professional excellence of the troops involved.
Commander 11 Corps attended the ceremony as the chief guest, with Brigadier General Ahmet Asik from the Republic of Turkiye also in attendance. The participating troops gained significant insights and experience from the joint training sessions, enhancing their operational capabilities in counter-terrorism efforts.
