Pak-India relations cannot improve without Kashmir solution 

Karachi, February 06, 2023 (PPI-OT):The General Secretary of All Parties Hurriyat Conference Azad Jammu and Kashmir (APHC-AJK) chapter, Sheikh Abdul Mateen has said that the people of Kashmir are not against Pak-India relations, but relations cannot improve without resolving the lingering Kashmir dispute. Sheikh Abdul Mateen addressing a press conference in Karachi, today, said with the political, diplomatic and moral support and patronage of the Pakistan government and the army, a new spirit is born in the struggle of Kashmiris. He expressed hope that Pakistan would not leave its Kashmiri brothers alone in any difficult situation. He said a stable and strong Pakistan is essential for the success of the Kashmiris’ struggle for freedom. He said in the presence of the Indian army, Kashmiris express their love for Pakistan by burying their martyrs in the Pakistani flag.

He said India is subjecting the innocent Kashmiris in the occupied territory to brutal cruelty and violence to force them to give up their right to self-determination but the people of Kashmir would continue their struggle till complete success. He deplored that the India’s fascist Modi government had trained 50,000 non-state actors in the name of Village Defense Committees and had been given weapons to kill innocent Kashmiris. The Indian troops are committing such crimes and the worst violations of human rights which cannot be seen in any other region of the world Sheikh Mateen said Kashmiris have rendered unprecedented sacrifices for the Kashmir cause which would not go waste and would definitely bring fruit.

He mentioned Indian state terrorism against innocent people in IIOJK and said that from January 1989 to February 5, 2022, the Indian soldiers have martyred 96,000, of which over 7,000 were martyred in fake encounters. The APHC-AJK General Secretary also addressed various seminars, conferences and rallies in Karachi and met with various delegations.
