Brussels: Pakistan’s Ambassador to the European Union, Belgium, and Luxembourg, Amna Baloch, hosted a luncheon for companies participating in the forthcoming second edition of FoodAG 2024, set to take place in Karachi from the 9th to the 11th of next month. The event aimed to discuss trade and investment opportunities within Pakistan’s agricultural sector and to promote the upcoming conference.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the participants received briefings on potential trade and investment openings in Pakistan’s agriculture, which remains a pivotal part of the country’s economy. They were also reassured of a warm welcome awaiting them at the event next month.
FoodAG 2024, themed “Growing a sustainable future,” seeks to foster collaboration between international and local communities, promoting a shared vision for a sustainable agricultural future. The conference will offer a platform for stakeholders to explore synergies and strengthen partnerships across the global food and agriculture sectors.
