Pak-China Leadership Interaction Set to Elevate Bilateral Relations, Says Caretaker Minister

Islamabad, 15 Oct 2023: Caretaker Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Murtaza Solangi, voiced confidence that the ongoing interaction between the top leaders of Pakistan and China during their visit to China would further bolster the ties between the two nations.

Addressing the seminar titled “CPEC and My Life”, Solangi underscored the tangible benefits that the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) projects have brought to the people. Highlighting a few significant developments, he mentioned the Orange Train in Lahore, Thar Coal in Sindh, and infrastructural advancements in Gwadar, Balochistan.

Solangi also emphasized the importance of strengthened geographical linkages, emphasizing that enhanced road, rail, and air transportation systems will facilitate more frequent people-to-people interactions. Such engagements, he believes, will cultivate deeper understanding through academic exchanges.

The Caretaker Minister further commented on the trade benefits, asserting that an increased volume of trade and business activities will lead to holistic development. This integrated progress, he added, would be instrumental in fostering harmony and sustainable growth in the region.
