Srinagar, August 20, 2021 (PPI-OT):In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the People’s Alliance for Gupkar Declaration (PAGD) has called a meeting on August 24 to discuss and deliberate on the prevailing situation in the territory. The meeting has been called at the residence of the amalgam president and National Conference chief Farooq Abdullah, media reports quoted the PAGD spokesperson Mohammad Yousuf Tarigami as saying.
The reports said the constituents of the PAGD have been asked to also bring their senior-most leaders to the meeting. Tarigami, as per the reports, refused to give further details and said that it would be “a simple meeting to discuss the current situation”. The PAGD, which comprises several regional political parties of IIOJK, last met on 4 August 2021 at Farooq Abdullah’s residence. The alliance was formed in October 2020 to fight for the restoration of the special status of the occupied territory.
