Srinagar, November 18, 2021 (PPI-OT):In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, People’s Alliance for Gupkar Declaration (PAGD), today, has demand a time bound judicial probe into the Hyderpora incident in which four civilians were martyred by India troops.
Addressing media persons after holding a meeting in Srinagar, the PAGD spokesman, Muhammad Yousuf Tarigami said that they held a threadbare discussion on Hyderpora incident. “We demand time bound judicial probe into the incident,” he said.
He maintained they are not concerned about the elections, but want to safeguard the lives of the people, saying that they “won’t allow Kashmir to turn into a graveyard.” He said that those involved in the incident should be dealt with as per the law. “We believe those involved irrespective of their position are law violators and deserve punishment.”
Tarigami said, ironically, burial is not being allowed citing several issues including Covid, security reasons and others, which is against the constitution. We had decided to meet the victim families under the leadership of Farooq Abdullah and informed police about it, but were not allowed, he said.
Tarigami said that it is not the time to do politics, but a period for grief and sorrow. “Whole Kashmir understands the situation and we will raise the voice in unison and won’t allow Kashmir to turn into the graveyard,” he added, and demanded credible enquiry into the Hyderpora incident.
