Islamabad, In preparation for the upcoming General Election, the Election Commission of Pakistan has successfully completed training for over half a million personnel, with plans to train an additional four hundred thousand staff by next month.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the training process, which began last November, is part of a larger effort to prepare around one million election staff. This includes District Returning Officers, Returning Officers, Presiding Officers, Assistant Presiding Officers, and others.
The commission has also established a fully operational Central Control Room, active since last month, to address election-related complaints. Along with this central hub, 180 control rooms have been activated at provincial, divisional, and district levels for election monitoring and swift issue resolution.
Furthermore, the Election Commission has mobilized teams to remove campaign materials that violate the code of conduct, ensuring a fair and transparent election process.
This comprehensive preparation underscores the commitment of the Election Commission of Pakistan to conduct a smooth and credible General Election.
