Islamabad, 12 Oct 2023:In the face of relentless bombardment by Israeli forces and warplanes, over 338,000 individuals have fled the besieged Gaza Strip, as the calamity unfolds into its sixth day, according to the MOIB press release. The death toll of Palestinians has tragically escalated to over 1,200, with more than 4,000 injuries reported. The majority of the Gaza Strip’s 2.3 million population is currently devoid of electricity and water, as the territory, one of the most densely populated regions in the world, has been under siege since Saturday.
Fears are escalating among the people regarding forthcoming adversities, including a potential ground invasion. Concurrently, a volley of Israeli rockets descended on the Gaza Strip today, demolishing entire neighbourhoods and resulting in numerous Gazan fatalities. According to Al Arabiya, a minimum of 22 individuals were killed during overnight Israeli raids on Gaza, and a separate Israeli airstrike on a residence in the city of Jabalia, north of Gaza, claimed at least 15 lives this morning.
