According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting disclosed that up to now, 182,154 illegal Afghans have been repatriated. On a recent day, 260 families returned to Afghanistan in a convoy of 186 vehicles. Temporary shelters have been established across various districts in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan to aid in this ongoing process. These camps provide necessary amenities, including shoes and warm clothing for children, to protect them from the cold during their transit and stay.
The government, along with security forces and local administrations, is actively involved in ensuring that the repatriation process provides humane and decent conditions. This operation aligns with the government’s priority for the safe and orderly return of all illegal foreign nationals following the October 31 deadline set for their evacuation.
