On Punjabi Culture Day, Punjab Police has become a cultural hub; a special ceremony of Punjabi Culture Day has been organized at central police office 

Lahore, March 14, 2022 (PPI-OT):Inspector General of Punjab Police Rao Sardar Ali Khan has said that Punjab is a land of five rivers whose protection and promotion of beautiful culture and charming traditions is our common responsibility. IG Punjab said that the celebration of Punjabi Culture Day at the government level is a good tradition and the purpose of celebrating this day is to promote beautiful culture of Punjab.

Rao Sardar Ali Khan said that on Punjabi Culture Day, all the supervisory officers of Punjab Police have contributed in the promotion of Punjabi culture by wearing Punjabi turbans and cultural attire in their offices. He said that Punjabi Sufi poets and religious leaders have promoted the culture of Punjab through their teachings and we also have to spread our culture, civilization and traditions by following these traditions. IG Punjab said that living nations not only keep their culture alive but also ensure all possible steps for its promotion.

Rao Sardar Ali Khan said that brotherhood, love, high morals, hospitality and courage are the hallmarks of Punjabi culture and Punjab Police would not spare any effort in protecting the life and property of the nation by following these traditions. He expressed these views in his special message issued on the occasion of Punjabi Culture Day.

On the occasion of Punjabi Culture Day, a special ceremony was organized at the Central Police Office on the direction of IG Punjab Rao Sardar Ali Khan in which students of Punjab Police Internship Program participated in cultural attire.

On the direction of IG Punjab, DIG Operations Punjab Kamran Adil attended the ceremony and congratulated all the participants including students on Punjabi Culture Day. Participants were served with traditional Punjabi confectionery like Lassi (whey) peas, jalebi and other sweets.

AIG Operations Zeeshan Raza answered the questions of the students and briefed them about the working of the police. The students thanked Punjab Police for organizing the Punjabi Culture Day ceremony and meeting with the police officers and highlighted its traditions while talking about their local culture. Moreover, on the occasion of Punjabi Culture Day, Punjab Police became culturally colored and pictures of police officers and personnel in regional attire and turbans remained popular on social media.
