Oman Delegation Expresses Confidence in Pakistan’s Investment Initiatives

Islamabad: A high-level delegation from Oman’s Ministry of Trade, Industry and Investment Promotion concluded a promising visit to Pakistan, exploring investment opportunities and expressing strong confidence in the initiatives led by Pakistan’s Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC).

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the delegation, headed by Undersecretary of Investment Promotion Ibtisam Al Farooji, participated in comprehensive briefings on Pakistan’s investment landscape at the SIFC. Discussions focused on enhancing the investment environment and exploring new opportunities in various sectors.

The visit featured both Government-to-Government and Business-to-Business meetings, where the Omani delegation met with representatives from the Pakistan Chamber of Commerce and Trade and various private sector companies. These meetings aimed to deepen trade and investment ties between the two nations.

Particularly noteworthy was the delegation’s interest in the Green Pakistan Initiative and the latest Land Information and Management System projects, highlighting potential areas for future collaboration.

The inaugural visit facilitated by the SIFC was praised for its role in strengthening bilateral relations and opening new avenues for economic cooperation between Oman and Pakistan.
