Oman Ambassador Meets Pakistan’s Senate Chairman to Discuss Bilateral Ties and Palestine Issue

Islamabad, H.E Fahad Bin Sulaiman Bin Khalaf Alkharusi, the Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to Pakistan, met with Chairman Senate Muhammad Sadiq Sanjrani today at the Parliament House in Islamabad. The meeting focused on strengthening bilateral relations and discussing the current situation in Palestine and Gaza.

According to Senate of Pakistan, the discussion extensively covered the ongoing conflict in Palestine and Gaza. Chairman Senate Muhammad Sadiq Sanjrani strongly condemned the actions of Israeli forces against Palestinians, labeling them as grave violations of human rights and international laws. He called on the international community to actively seek a just and comprehensive solution to the Palestine issue and emphasized the need for Muslim countries to unite for peace and stability in the region.

During the meeting, both dignitaries also highlighted the strong ties between Pakistan and Oman. Chairman Senate expressed a commitment to enhancing these bilateral relations further, acknowledging the deep historical, religious, and cultural connections between the two nations. He saw significant potential for expanding trade and economic cooperation and stressed the importance of increasing people-to-people contacts, including the exchange of parliamentary and trade delegations, to stimulate economic growth in both countries.

Muhammad Sadiq Sanjrani underscored the importance of regional peace for development and urged Muslim countries to actively participate in achieving stability. Reflecting on the legacy of Sultan Qaboos and his concern for the Baloch people, he encouraged exploring investment opportunities in Pakistan, particularly in Balochistan.
