OIC Secretary General Lauds Pakistan’s Active Role in the Organization


Jeddah, Hissein Brahim Taha, the Secretary-General of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), has acknowledged and appreciated Pakistan’s strong involvement with the OIC during a meeting with Pakistan’s Permanent Representative to the OIC, Syed Mohammad Fawad Sher. The meeting focused on enhancing collaboration and addressing key issues on the OIC agenda.



According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the discussions between Sher and Taha in Jeddah covered a range of topics including prospects of cooperation between Pakistan and the OIC, efforts to boost Joint Islamic Action, and several pertinent issues like Palestine, Kashmir, and Islamophobia. The OIC Secretary-General expressed his hope for deepening cooperation with Pakistan and recognized the nation’s substantial engagement with the organization. This meeting underscores Pakistan’s active role and its commitment to addressing major issues within the Islamic world.
