Islamabad, 12 Oct 2023:A dialogue concerning the human rights violations in the Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJ and K) was held between the Special Assistant to the Prime Minister (SAPM) on Human Rights and Women Empowerment, Mushaal Hussein Mullick, and the OIC Secretary General’s Special Envoy for Jammu and Kashmir, H.E. Yousef M. Al Dobeay, in Islamabad, according to a press release from MOIB.
The SAPM expressed gratitude for OIC’s persistent support to the oppressed people of Jammu and Kashmir, notably after India’s illicit actions on August 5, 2019. The SAPM highlighted the escalating human rights abuses in the IIOJ and K, including the imprisonment of political leadership, to the OIC Special Envoy, who reiterated OIC’s steadfast position on the dispute and pledged continued commitment to the Kashmir cause.
