ISLAMABAD: The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) has expressed its approval of the ceasefire agreement reached between Pakistan and India, acknowledging the diplomatic efforts that facilitated the accord.
In a statement released earlier today, the OIC highlighted the significance of the truce and praised the countries that played a pivotal role in bringing the two neighboring nations to the negotiation table.
The organization urged the global community to intensify their efforts in promoting a constructive dialogue between Pakistan and India. The OIC emphasized the importance of addressing unresolved issues, notably the Jammu and Kashmir conflict, through peaceful negotiations and in alignment with relevant United Nations Security Council Resolutions.
