Islamabad, The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has officially updated the natural gas sale prices for various consumer categories. This change, effective from November 1st, 2023, follows the Federal Government’s advice and is part of its socio-economic agenda and sectoral policies that consider adjustments in cross-subsidy and the Gas Development Surcharge.
According to the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority, the Federal Government, under specific sections of the OGRA Ordinance, 2002, holds the authority to determine natural gas pricing. The newly revised prices have been published in the Official Gazette and are available on OGRA’s website.
