Islamabad: The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has released the new prices for Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) for July 2024, showing a marginal increase from the previous month. The slight adjustment reflects changes in the global market and exchange rate fluctuations.
According to Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority, the producer price of LPG has risen by Rs. 121.75 per ton, which translates to an increase of Rs. 1.43 per 11.8 kg cylinder for consumers. The consumer price now stands at Rs. 234,717.27 per ton, or Rs. 2,769.66 per cylinder, effective from July 1, 2024. This adjustment is attributed to a 0.06% increase in the US dollar exchange rate, impacting the cost slightly by Rs. 0.12 per kg, despite the stable Saudi Aramco-CP rates.
