OGRA Announces Reduction in LPG Prices for June 2024

Islamabad, The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has released the new pricing structure for Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) for June 2024, marking a decrease from the previous month’s rates. The updated prices will take effect starting June 1, 2024.

According to Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority, the notified maximum price for LPG producers for June will be Rs. 193,295.52 per ton, which reflects a decrease of Rs. 3,866.62 from May 2024. Consequently, the price for an 11.8 kg LPG cylinder for consumers will be set at Rs. 2,768.23, showing a decrease of Rs. 45.62.

This reduction in LPG prices results from a 2% decrease in the Saudi Aramco-CP and a slight decline in the US dollar exchange rate. OGRA has emphasized that these changes aim to pass on the benefits of international price reductions to Pakistani consumers, enhancing affordability and accessibility of LPG across the country.
