OGRA Adjusts Petroleum Prices Amid Global Oil Market Fluctuations


Islamabad: The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has revised consumer prices for petroleum products in response to recent changes in the international oil market. Starting February 16, 2025, the updated prices will reflect a reduction across several categories for the upcoming fortnight.



According to a statement by Press Information Department, the revised prices will see High Speed Diesel (HSD) reduced by Rs. 4.00, bringing it to Rs. 263.95 per liter. Motor Spirit (Petrol) will decrease by Rs. 1.00, now priced at Rs. 256.13 per liter.



Superior Kerosene Oil will see a reduction of Rs. 3.20, setting the new price at Rs. 171.65 per liter. Light Diesel Oil will experience a drop of Rs. 5.25, making the new rate Rs. 155.81 per liter.



The adjustments come as part of OGRA’s regular review process aimed at aligning domestic prices with global trends. The changes will take effect immediately and remain in place for the next two weeks.
