Quetta, A group of students from the National University of Science and Technology (NUST) visited the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) in Balochistan as part of an educational initiative to strengthen anti-corruption efforts among youth. The visit included briefings on NAB’s strategies and operational changes aimed at combating corruption more effectively.
According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, the visit was part of an ongoing anti-corruption awareness campaign, where students were informed about NAB’s three-pronged strategy consisting of Awareness, Prevention, and Enforcement. The students toured various departments, including the investigation wing and prosecution wing, and were briefed by the heads of these departments.
Director General of NAB Balochistan interacted personally with the students, emphasizing the role of upholding Islamic values to combat corruption and outlining NAB’s comprehensive approach from complaint registration to inquiry and investigation stages. The visit was appreciated by Mr. Alamgeer, the focal person from NUST, who recognized the significance of such engagements in fostering a corruption-free society.
