Lahore, July 19, 2022 (PPI-OT):Inspector General Police Punjab Rao Sardar Ali Khan has taken notice of the death of four people in two firing incidents in Okara and has asked RPO Sahiwal for a report on the incident. IG Punjab ordered DPO Okara to form special teams to arrest the accused and said that the accused should be arrested and brought to justice immediately. Rao Sardar Ali Khan directed that the supervisory officers to keep close contact with the families of deceased and ensure justice on priority basis.
According to the details, DPO Okara Hasan Iqbal said that the accused named Rafeeq killed his wife Farzana and her brother Kashif in Latifabad and at another place, near MCB Chowk near Ghala Mandi, he shot and killed his close relatives. Sulaiman and Ashiq were killed while the close relatives of the victims, Zubaydah Bibi and Maryam Bibi and an unknown passer-by are injured.
DPO Okara said that the civil matters between the parties are pending and due to this opposition the accused fired. He said that upon receiving of this information, massive nufree of police reached the spot. Moreover, Raids are being conducted to arrest the accused and they will be arrested very soon.
