Lahore, November 08, 2022 (PPI-OT):Inspector General Police Punjab Faisal Shahkar has taken notice of the incident of killing of three brothers due to long-standing enmity in Pakpattan and has asked RPO Sahiwal for a report on the incident. IG Punjab ordered DPO Pakpattan to form a special team to arrest the accused and said that the accused should be arrested as soon as possible and brought before the court of law.
According to the details, Pakpattan police spokesperson said that there was a long-standing rivalry and litigation between the Khokhar community and the Baloch community in the village of Malika Hans in 72D. Three deceased brothers namely Irshad, Tanveer and Mumtaz sons of Khizar Hayat were coming to Pakpattan from 72D when they were shot dead by the opponents on Jamal Kot Bridge.
The local police crime scene unit/police forensics teams reached the spot and collected evidence while police shifted the bodies of the victims to DHQ hospital for post-mortem. IG Punjab instructed DPO Pakpattan to keep in close contact with the families of the victims and said that no effort should be spared in the immediate delivery of justice.
