No trees will be cut in construction of Akbar Chowk flyover, PHA will purchase modern machinery for safe transfer of trees

Lahore, April 05, 2023 (PPI-OT):The meeting was held in the Chief Minister’s Office under the chairmanship of caretaker Chief Minister Punjab Mohsin Naqvi. Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi was given a detailed briefing about the issues related to the Akbar Chowk flyover project. In the briefing, it was informed that no trees will be cut in the construction of Akbar Chowk flyover.

PHA will purchase modern machinery for the safe transfer of trees. By the construction of Akbar Chowk flyover, Johar Town, Faisal Town, Model Town, Town Thousands of citizens of Ship and other areas will be benefited. Mohsin Naqvi said that for the convenience of the public, the Akbar Chowk flyover project should be completed in minimum time and best arrangements should be made for the flow of traffic during the construction of the project.
