No restraint in anti-youth policies of Indian govt in IIOJK: NC leader

Srinagar, January 04, 2023 (PPI-OT):In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, National Conference leader, Nasir Aslam Wani, has said that disillusionment among the Kashmiri youth is widespread and at its peak because there is no restraint on the anti-youth policies in the territory by the incumbent Indian government.

Nasir Aslam Wani in a statement issued in Srinagar said the rampant disillusionment among the IIOJK youth draws on many things which include no job avenues, widespread unemployment, looming insecurity, and wanton discrimination. He said the Kashmiri youth like their counterparts elsewhere in the world are bright. However, he said, the only thing that sets them apart from their counterparts in the rest of the world is the absence of safer spaces to pursue their vocation. Besides that, he added, the insecurity in their own land remains a primary hurdle in the direction of their empowerment.

The NC leader further said, how shameful is the fact that list after list is being annulled; not even a day passes when one or the other selection list doesn’t end up in a scam. He said, the authorities are answerable why the merit of Kashmiri youth is being robbed under broad daylight. He said the fire services recruitment scam, sub inspector recruitment scam, financial account assistant scams are hallmarks of pervasive and brazen and widespread corruption that has become the hallmark of Indian government.
