Islamabad: In a recent meeting with a delegation from the Utility Stores Corporation, Minister for Industries and Production Rana Tanveer Hussain clarified that there are no plans to shut down the Utility Stores Corporation. The discussion, which included the Managing Director of the Utility Stores Corporation and the Secretary of Industries and Production, addressed concerns and outlined future strategies for the organization.
According to Press Information Department, during the meeting, the Minister explored various options for restructuring the Utility Stores Corporation. He highlighted the development of a new subsidy mechanism aimed at enhancing transparency within the organization. Rana Tanveer Hussain reassured stakeholders that the government would not take any unilateral actions regarding the closure of the Utility Stores Corporation.
