Islamabad, August 24, 2021 (PPI-OT):Taliban Spokesperson Zabihullah Mujahid has said no one will be allowed to use the Afghan soil against the neighbouring countries. Talking to media in Kabul today (Tuesday), he said law and order situation is under control in Kabul and Security situation is satisfactory across Afghanistan.
He urged the International organizations and foreign embassies to resume their work in Afghanistan and that Taliban have a plan to hold meetings with foreign diplomats to assure them provision of complete security and facilitation. The Spokesperson said the Taliban have announced general amnesty for all Afghans, hence no revenge of past deeds will be taken.
He said here is a message of peace for everyone to come and serve the nation. Zabihullah urged all Afghan professionals to continue their work as all education institutions have started their activities. He said some government institutions including central bank national TV and Radio have initiated their operations.
The mayoral operations have also been initiated in all cities including the Capital and crime rate is rapidly declining across Afghanistan. The Taliban Spokesperson said that only foreigners are allowed to proceed to airport for boarding and we have stopped Afghan nationals to leave the country. Replying to a question, he expressed the hope that the issue of Punjsher would be resolved through talks without war. Regarding personnel of Afghan security forces, Zabihullah Mujahid said all such people should resume their duties.
He said for the time being, women should stay at home and they will be called back for duty as soon as security situation improves. Responding to a question, the Taliban Spokesperson said that foreign forces will not be able to prolong their stay in Afghanistan, if Americans extend their stay beyond 31st August, the Taliban leadership will take a decision in this regard.
