NLC and Kazak Companies Open New Trade Route from Kazakhstan to Dubai via Afghanistan

Islamabad, In a groundbreaking collaboration, the National Logistics Corporation (NLC) and various Kazak companies have successfully transported the first-ever consignment of goods from Kazakhstan to Dubai, navigating through Afghanistan.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the journey involved two trucks carrying a total of twenty-one tons of goods, marking a significant milestone in regional trade connectivity. The trucks traveled a distance of 4,900 kilometers to Karachi in just twenty days, where the goods were then loaded onto a feeder ship and subsequently reached Jebel Ali Port in Dubai.

This new trade route not only demonstrates the logistical capabilities of NLC and its Kazak partners but also opens up significant economic opportunities for Kazakhstan by providing access to markets in the Middle East, South Asia, and Southeast Asia. Approximately sixty containers are expected to be transported via this route in the current and following month, signifying the potential growth in trade volume.
