Srinagar, October 21, 2021 (PPI-OT):In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, at least nine persons from Shopian district have been booked under draconian, Public Safety Act (PSA) and shifted to district jails of Poonch, Rajouri and Kathua of Jammu region.
Media reports said that PSA warrants were issued by the District Magistrate of Shopian against nine persons who are the natives of different hamlets of Shopian district. Among these nine persons three have been shifted and lodged at District Jail, Rajouri. They were identified as Sameer Ahmad Malla, Muzamil Ahmad Dar and Muhammad Iqbal Ganaie.
Two more persons shifted to District Jail, Poonch, have been identified as Sajad Ahmad Butt and Rouf Ahmad Butt. Those who have been booked under PSA and sent to District Jail, Kathua, are Junaid Haroon Rashid, Waseem Ahmad Ganaie, Irfan Ahmad Kutay and Jahangir Ahmed Malik. Pertinently, scores of persons have been arrested following the recent killings of civilians in parts of Kashmir Valley.
