Nine injured in road accident in IIOJK

Srinagar, July 25, 2021 (PPI-OT):In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, at least nine persons were injured after a passenger cab they were boarding met with an accident in Chowkibal area of Kupwara district on Sunday. Reports said that a sumo bearing registration No JK-09 1093 skidded of the road and fell into a deep gorge along Budnamal Road in Chowkibal. In the incident, nine persons sustained injuries and were evacuated to SDH, Kralpora, for immediate treatment.

A police official concerned, confirming the incident to media, said that all the injured have been lifted from the accident site to a nearby hospital for treatment. The official in the meantime identified the injured passengers as Ghulam Rasool Lone, 70, Ghulam Mohammad Lone, 55, Ghulam Hassan Lone, 70, Gazila Manzoor, 19, Shahid Iqbal Lone, 26, Zahida Begum, 34, Ghulam Mohammad Sheikh, 55, Anaytaullah Lone, 22 all residents of Budnamal and Ghulam Mohuiddin Payer, 45 son of Abdul Rehman Payer, a resident of Sonthipora Kralpora.
