Srinagar, May 10, 2022 (PPI-OT):In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, a special court of India’s notorious National Investigation Agency (NIA) in Srinagar has framed charges against eight persons including illegally detained Hurriyat leader Zafar Akbar Butt in connection with a false case registered against them.
Special judge of NIA court, Srinagar, Manjeet Singh Manhas, framed the charges against Zafar Akbar Butt and seven other Kashmiris under various sections of the black law, Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act. The case was registered against them by the so-called State Investigation Agency (SIA) of IIOJK on July 27, 2020 for arranging admission of IIOJK residents in MBBS and other professional courses in various colleges, institutions and universities in Pakistan.
Besides Zafar Akbar Butt, others against whom charges have been framed include Fatima Shah, Altaf Ahmad Butt, Qazi Yasir, Mohammad Abdullah Shah, Sabzar Ahmad Sheikh, Manzoor Ahmad Shah and Mohammad Iqbal Mir.
