Islamabad, Caretaker Minister for Religious Affairs, Aneeq Ahmed, announced the formulation of a new Ziarat policy aimed at enhancing religious tourism and ensuring the convenience of Zaireen.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the Minister discussed the new policy with the Iraqi Ambassador Hamid Abbas Lafta in Islamabad. The discussion included plans for the construction of Pakistan House in Baghdad and Karbala, which will cater to Pakistani Zaireen visiting Iraq.
Aneeq Ahmed highlighted the deep-rooted fraternal ties between Pakistan and Iraq, emphasizing the affection and love shared between the peoples of both nations. He elaborated on how the new policy would strengthen these bonds through religious tourism.
The Iraqi Ambassador, in response, assured the provision of the best facilities for Pakistani Zaireen in Iraq, reinforcing the cooperative spirit between the two countries.
