Islamabad, November 10, 2021 (PPI-OT):Minister for Industries and Production, Khusro Bakhtiar says the government’s new Small and Medium Enterprises Policy is aimed at facilitating small businesses through provision of tax relief and easy loans. He was talking to businessmen and Presidents of Chambers of Commerce to brief them about the government’s new SME policy in Islamabad today [Wednesday].

The Minister said under the new SME policy, a card will be issued to provide tax relief and easy loans to businessmen and entrepreneurs while an SME portal has already been launched to expand businesses and ease the process of getting the NOC. He said a special fund will be set up for promotion of Small and Medium Enterprises and plots have also been allocated in industrial zones for these enterprises.

The Minister said steps have also been taken to promote textile and IT industries and marketing of Pakistani products at international level. Khusro Bakhtiar said Pakistani businessmen will be facilitated in getting access to international market.
