New Gwadar Airport Set to Propel Pakistan’s Economic Growth


Gwadar: The inauguration of the New Gwadar International Airport marks a significant milestone in Pakistan’s development, as highlighted by Khawaja Muhammad Asif, the Minister for Defence and Aviation. At the ceremony held on Monday, Asif emphasized the airport’s potential to enhance trade, tourism, and job creation in the country, ultimately contributing to economic transformation.



According to a statement by Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Asif expressed gratitude towards the Chinese Government for their role in the airport’s completion. He underscored the strategic importance of the project within the framework of the China Pakistan Economic Corridor, aiming to set Gwadar on a path of progress and prosperity.



The event was attended by notable figures including the Chief Minister of Balochistan, Mir Sarfraz Bugti, and Governor Sheikh Jaffar Khan Mandokhail, alongside other high-ranking officials. The new airport is expected to serve as a catalyst for regional development and facilitate greater connectivity within Pakistan and beyond.
