New Envoys from Ireland, Maldives, and Vietnam Present Credentials to Pakistani President

Islamabad: In a formal ceremony at Aiwan-e-Sadr, the new diplomatic representatives from Ireland, Maldives, and Vietnam presented their credentials to President Asif Ali Zardari.

According to Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the ambassadors designated by Ireland, Maldives, and Vietnam Mary O’Neill, Uz. Mohamed Thoha, and Pham Anh Tuan, respectively were officially welcomed by President Zardari. The President acknowledged their appointments and emphasized the significance of their roles in fostering enhanced cooperation between their countries and Pakistan.

The ceremony marks the beginning of the envoys’ official duties in Pakistan, setting the stage for potentially deeper diplomatic and bilateral engagements.
