Lahore, A significant development in air transport connectivity between China and Pakistan has been achieved with the launch of a new cargo air route. This initiative is expected to bolster trade and economic ties between the two nations.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the route has been established by SF Airlines, China’s largest air cargo carrier. The new air route connects Ezhou Huahu Airport in Hubei Province, central China, directly with Lahore, Pakistan. This direct link is a strategic move to enhance the efficiency and capacity of cargo transport between the two countries.
The Ezhou-Lahore air route is scheduled to operate three times a week. This frequency is set to provide over 300 tons of air transport capacity weekly from Ezhou to Lahore. The establishment of this route is a testament to the growing economic collaboration and is likely to have a positive impact on the bilateral trade between China and Pakistan.
This development is particularly significant as it not only facilitates the movement of goods but also strengthens the economic corridor between the two countries. The enhanced air transport capacity is expected to play a pivotal role in boosting trade, particularly in sectors requiring swift transport of goods.
